Pantomime - Blend - Medium
This is the first offering in an ongoing rotation of espresso blends to be offered at Odd Box. Like all blends we do here, it is a post-roast blend; I roast individual coffees in a way that brings out their best characteristics then blend them together after, mixing and matching flavors to create something complex and compelling. Pantomime leans lighter but with enough roast on it to put it into the medium category. I love this as espresso: on its own the Ethiopian component shines through with citrusy notes, crisp acidity; the Colombian and Brazil balance it with a touch of toffee and milk chocolate. In a latte those latter notes power through the dairy to make for a balanced, velvety beverage. It also works great as drip!
